Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), an institution
of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), affiliated
to the GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, is the first institution
to qualify for running the B.Tech Programme. Established in
1999, ASET is in its fourth year of operation and the first
batch of 255 students will pas out in 2003. The main facilities
are as follows.

· Computer laboratories: Fully equipped with 203 machines
of Hp (p-4), 2.12 MHz, 40 GB HDD, with essential software's
and havce Broadband internet connection therough radio link
and ISDN facilities and also special software's like ORCAD,
AutoCad 2002, Ratioanl Rose, Pro Engineering, MATLAB, VLSI
(AHDL) Active HDL Simplify-Pro-PE-VHDL-BDU including LASI,
WIn spice FPGA/GPLD and XI LINIX Web oack. All Computer are
connected with Server (:P-3, 1000 MHZ) and Networking (INTEL
ROuter 8210 and CICSO Router 1700 series).
· Electronics & Communication Laboratory: Developed
specifically fro training iun basic electronic circuitry,
analog and digital electronic, with ample back up instruments
from leading international manufacturers for each student
to work individually. we have microprocessor laboratory with
8085, 8086 trainer, fully developed microwave lab., various
trainers like mobile computing AF?Fm transmission and receiver,
colour T.V., VCR, Telecommunication Trainers, Satellite Receiver
,Wireless communication, signal conditioning in communication,
Robot Arm.
· Mechanical and Electrical Machines Shops. Equipped
with Central Lathes, Shaping Machines, Drilling Machines ,electrical
shop fitted with both AC and DC Motor. Generators and Alternators
with measuring instruments fro Circuit & System Labs.
Lab is also fully equipped in training with turbine (Kaplan,
Pelton, Francis), Dynamometers, Profile Projectors ,Surface
Roughness Testers, Plc Hydraulic and Pneumatic Trainers etc.
· Engineering Mechanics Lab, Kinematics and Dyanmics
Lab., Fluid Mechanixs & Solid Mechanics Labs.: Fully equipped
and functional.
· Physics Lab.: Equipped with LASER, fiber Optics and
Ultrasonic experiments besides the usual training facilities.
· Chemistry Lab & Mechanicasl Workshops: Equipped
with gas and electrical welding sets.
ASET has a well qualified and competent young faculty in the
area of Science & Engineering Technology possessing a
minimum M.Phil/M.Tech. coming from highly prominent institutions
of the country. Many foif them have the Ph.D. digress and
are also doing researches and many resercyh papers have been
published. THe teachers take care fo modern method of lecture
delivering with special emphasis on tutorial work, course
assignment and practical work.
ASET is also organizing National Conferences in specialized
areas like Digital Signal Processing -Theory & Practices
organized in 2002. Students have IEEE Student Branch, Computer
Society of India branch, Society of Automotive Engineering
various extra curricular activities, Music Club, ECO Club,
Rotaract Club, Sports Club etc. so that students may develop
overall personality.
