Established
in 1999, "COMM-IT CAREER ACADDEMY" under "Awadh Public Charitable
Trust", is a premier institute providing education in the field
of Information Technology. Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha
University (GGSIPU) University, Delhi COMM-IT CAREER ACADEMY is
offering course of "Bachelor of Computer Application" BCA program.
At "COMM IT CAREER ACADEMY" our endeavor is to build students' capacity
not only in theoretical areas but also ensure them hands on experience
of latest technology platform.
MISSION:
We aim at developing a center of excellence in current and
upcoming trends in IT like bio-informatics, Geographical Information
System (GIS), data Ware House, Data Mining and Short Distance
Wireless Communication System (Blue tooth, IEEE 802.11b, JINI
etc.). Our endeavor is to facilitate a conductive environment
in which each student can engage in a meaningful learning
experience at their own pace and space.
CAMPUS:
Far from the maddening crowd, campus of COMM-IT is a very
conveniently located at the DDA institutional area allotted
to Awadh Public Charitable Trust. It is well connected with
different major Bus routes. The institute is very well equipped
with all latest facilities with Staff Room, Common room, and
conference hall, which is well equipped with OHP, LCD projector
and TV. Other facilities like Canteen, PCO, Xerox, and eco
friendly lush green ambience constitute the campus of the
Institute.
COMPUTATIONAL FACILITY:
Institute has three well engineered and fully furnished computer
labs with latest technologies and software's with total 120
PCs of HP - Brio, IBM and Compaq.
- All
PCs are connected with 100 Mbps Ethernet LAN.

Round the clock Internet access with 192 Kbps dedicated
line.
- The
latest licensed software's like Windows 2000, Window NT
Server 4.0, Red Hat Linux 7.2, Sun Solaris 8.0, C, C++,
VSS (Configuration Management Tool), Visual Studio 6.0,
Sun Java 2, ORACLE 9i, Data Ware House and Data Mining Tools.
LIBRARY:
The Institute has build up a modern specialized library with
a total number of 3336 books. Procuring books is a continuous
process at institute. As of now all the text and reference
books recommended in the syllabi and required for information
technology are available in the Library. With its varied supply
of periodicals, Newspapers, Journals and Magazines for students'
leisure time the library is constantly being upgraded keeping
in mind future expansion and development plan.
SPORTS
FACILITY:
At the institute sports facilities for various games such
as Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and badminton etc are made
available. Facilities for indoor games such as Carom Board,
Chess and Table Tennis are also available.
FACULTY:
The institute has five permanent faculties from wide range
of academic and industry experience as per the University
Norms. Diverse, dedicated and dynamic faculty members continuously
strive to facilitate a learning environment, which is a fine
blending of analytical, theoretical and practical aspects.
Eminent teachers having long academic and industry experience
from diverse fields are also invited regularly as visiting
faculty.
PLACEMENT
CELL:
There is an active Placement Cell continuously studying market
forces, industry requirement and is continuously in touch
with HR Consultants to cater to the job requirements of the
students. Trained personnel coordinate between the institute
and the industry for better placement of students. The Placement
Cell has successfully placed almost all BCA and BIS(H) students
in various IT industries. They are also assisting students
and guiding them to find opportunities in appropriate industry
for their summer training. The placement cell is also lending
a hand to students in various seminars, trainings and conventions.
It also grooms the students for resume writing, interview
facing and prepares them for their better tomorrow.
