(Swami Vivekananda) is the philosophy of CES COLLEGES OF EDUCATION
RESEARCH AND TRAINING. Setup in the year 1999 under the agies
of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and the management
of CHILD EDUCATION SOCIETY (Regd.) (Established on the year
1944), the College stands well poised to meet the challenges
fo the new millennium. With the batch strength of 100 for
the B.Ed programme, CEC-CERT aims to enhance the quality of
teacher education and is dedicated to the cause of professionalisation
of teacher education. Our objective is to enable and empower
the prospective teachers.
The
Vision and the Philosophy of the Programme:
Adequaletly
equipped, the college humbly commits all its resources - human
and physical, to the realization of its avowed goals and ideals.
In facts, the institution is venturing to translate the following
principles into practice:
- Vision
building for the changing and emerging global culture. Empowerment
of teachers who act as agents of modernization and social
change.
- Development
of competencies and skills needed fro becoming effective
teachers in the new scenario.

The inculcation of the art of thinking independently and
working together.
Action
plan:
The institution has drawn up an enriching plan for organizing
curricular activities such as selecting, organizing and using
learning resources: development fo personality: creativity
and sensitivity among prospective teachers: stage-specific
theoretical and practical transactional strategies and evaluation:
value judgment, commitment amd transmission etc. However,
for co-curricular domain, exposure to dramatics, literary
and aesthetic activities, excursions and field visits, live
dialogue with the community through Community Services rules
the day.
Infrastructure:
The
college has an independent campus covering an area of 30,000
sq. ft. with a friendly and enriching ambience with all the
relevant facilities fo high standard. The institute has well-equipped
Classrooms, library, Multi Purpose Hall, Psychology Lab, Work
Experience Room, Science Laboratory, Educational Technology
Room with audio visual teaching equipments and a modern well-equipped
auditorium
The
Learned Teaching Faculty:
The CEC College takes pride in having the services of highly
qualified and competent teaching faculty and an Advisory Board
of eminent scholars anmd treacher educators.
Results:
Our feedback in the form of results contained in the previous
academic years is highly positive with percent first division
of which 75% are first divisions with distinction.
Placement:
The college has an excellent placement record in the push
with a majority of our students being placed in the leading
educational institutions of the country and prestigious schools.
we also have an in0house Placement cell catering to the need
of the students and schools in and around Delhi other than
Bal-Bharit Public Schools.
In-service Training:
The college has proudly embarked up on an intensive training
programme fro in-service teachers to keep them abreast with
teh latest developments in various fields, cognitive as well
as group dynamics. Thirds year Teacher Empowerment cell to
the college has successfully organized three workshops and
it has become permanent feature in our college calendar. The
CES College of Education Research and Training has establishing
its credibility and in the the last four years te achievement
in the all round development of the college has given us more
confidence in setting new goals to bring the institute at
the highest levels in teacher training
programme.
