THE INSTITUTE DELHI INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES is a dynamic growth oriented institution affiliated to G.G.S. Inderprastha University. Established by Shri Laxman Dass Sachdeva Memorial Educational Society, the Institute is providing dynamic learning environment that is changing in response to changing needs of society. At DIAS, pursuit of excellence is a way of life. The guiding philosophy behind all the academic activities of institute is to inculcate professionalism in management and to enhance the effectiveness of organizations.   The Institute boasts of unmatched Human, Physical and Financial resources in the form of
  * Management
  Sh. S.H. SACHDEVA, a well-known name in the education world, is the Chairman of the society that is running several well-established public schools.
  * The Faculty
  The Institute has highly qualifies, experienced and dedicated core faculty headed by Dr. S.N. MAHESHWARI, former principal of Hindu College, Delhi University, as its director. The core faculty is supported by top academicians from University department, Delhi University, professional institutions viz. Delhi College of Engineering, Institute of Charted Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and business executives from trade and Industry
  *Campus
  The Institute is housed in its campus built on a plot of land measuring 1.0 acre. The Institute has well furnished classrooms, fully developed labs, well furnished committee room, students' common room and facilities both for indoor and outdoor games.
  *Library
  The institute has well equipped library with more than 5,600 titles: 9,500 books and 55 Journals (both national and international). Most of the library activities are computerized.
  *DIAS Times
  The institute brings out its own Quarterly New Letter - cum - Journal "DIAS Times" incorporating information about the activities at the institute, research articles and the latest developments in the field of Information Technology and Management.
  *International Academic Collaboration
  DIAS has an agreement with Marshall University, USA, which provides the students of DIAS on their completion of BBA and MBA programmes can also obtain BBA and MBA degrees from Marshall University, USA in about 50% of usual time duration for these degrees on account of transfer of credits to Marshall for completed by them at DIAS. There is also provision for tuition waiver and financial assistance for DIAS students at Marshall.
  *Computer Centre
  The Institute has six ultra modern computer labs each having 30 computers and fitted with state of the art computer networking. The Institute has a leased line with high speed bandwidth from Primus to provide internet access to students 24 hours a day to enhance the capacity of students to professionalise themselves and provide them the access to current information
  *DIAS Technology Grid
  DIAS Technology Grid is an association of students and faculty members that organizes extra-curricular and cultural activities at intra-institute and inter-institute level. It endeavors to develop the personality of students to bring a change in their management thoughts and breeds new concept through a paradigm shift in ideas and perspectives. DIAS Technology Grid organizes Presentation Contests, Quiz Zaire, Ad-Mad and Movie Trailor Contests, Solo Song Competition, Poetry Recitation, Case Study Competitions, Debate *Placement Cell
  The Institute has its own Placement Cell which through regular interaction with business and industry facilities both the summer and final placements of students. Placement Committee comprises the Placement Advisor and representatives of the students and the faculty.
  
  
• OUR SUCCESS
  The success of a professional educational Institute is evaluated and judged both on its academic performance and placement of its students. DIAS has been successful on both these fronts. The students of DIAS have been constantly securing majority of top ten positions at the University examinations in respect of all the programmes conducted at DIAS. The Placement of the students has been superb. DIAS has been in position to have almost 100% placements for its two passed out batches of MBA and MCA students in prestigious organizations such as IBM, Infosys, Adobe, Neuleus Software Ltd., Intersolutions, Bharti Touchtell, Reliance Infocom, Ranbaxy, Thomas Cook, FICCI, American Express, Tata tele Services, Jet Airways, Mahindra Finance, Abacus, Synergy, Torrent, Maspar, Quark, Sytel, Om Logistics, BEC Foods, Hughes and many others.
