The
Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee(DSGMC) has setup
Guru Nanak College of Education at Punjabi Bagh, Road No.
75, New Delhi in 2003. It is part of Guru Nanak Institute
Of Management (GNIM) setup by DSGMC in 1996. The GNIM is a
professional managed institution and has been rated 'A' grade
institution by a survey conducted by AIMA and MDRA. It is
at present offering following courses- MCA, BCA, BIS.
Guru
Nanak College of Education is located in the lush green environment
of Punjabi Bagh, a posh locality in west Delhi. It is being
managed by highly experienced and dedicated Core and visiting
faculty. It provides intellectually simulating learning environment.
It offers facilities for teaching subjects - Integrated sciences,
Life science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Economics, English,
Hindi, Business studies and accountancy. The college has been
sanctioned intake of 100 students and has adequate infrastructure
facilities and equipment to turn out competent teachers. A
number of senior secondary schools - Guru Harkishan Public
Schools managed by DSGMC are practicing schools of Guru Nanak
College of education. These schools are providing excellent
opportunities to prospective teachers of the college to undergo
practice teaching with a view to acquiring adequate competence
in teaching. The institute also provides placement facilities
to the deserving students.
