Current Scenario:
The profession needs no introduction at all. After going through the rigorous training imparted in this course at the GGSIPU, a person is transformed from being a mere citizen to being an upholder of the law of this country. The profession itself invokes great respect and monetary as well as mental satisfaction. Although the working scenario is not considered to be among the best owing to the working hours, this profession is best suited for the people with a zeal to excel and make a mark on the society.

There are numerous opportunities available for a person with a Law degree. The career opportunities include corporate sector where the services of a lawyer are generally required at all times by a company to function on a day to day basis. Besides, there is always the opportunity to be appointed as a judge in a court after a considerable amount of time is spent practicing law in the purest form, at the courts.

Eligibility Conditions: Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and should have passed in English as a subject.
