Introduction:
Mother Teresa Institute of Management (MTIM) was set up in
1996 by a grope of educationists and professional to create
professional excellence, imbued with dedication to the cause
of peace, compassing and human dignity, espoused world wide
by legendary Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa, who inspires and
guides the Institute's activities. The Institute is affiliated
to GGS Indaraprastha University Delhi and is presently conduction
it's four year BIS (H) course and the three year BCA course.
Infrastructure:
In keeping with its commitment to provide the best training
equipment, the institute has set up a new customized server
with intel Pentiuim IV, 2.4 GHz CPU, 512 MB SD RAM, 80 GB
hard Disk. The entire network is connected to an Online APC
UPS ensuring long duration backup, Besides a silent Diesel
generator is also installed to provide uninterrupted power
to the computer lab, library & classroom etc. during emergenices.
Computer
Labs:
Two air-conditioned computer labs are equipped with 60 Pentium
_ III 500 MHz workstations having 128 MB SDRAM, 10.2 GB HDD,
15" digital color monitors, with full multimedia capability
and internet connectivity with Dishnet Cable Network.
Other Facilities:
Apart from latest teaching aids, eg. White board, OHP, Vidoe
Cassette Players, TV etc. the seminar room of the institute
is quipped with state of the art lighting and audio-visual
facilities. MTIM also has a sports stadium and open-air-stage
for performances. Also ,Canteen and computerized Branch of
PN bank for banking services are available within the campus.
Library:
It has a spacious Reading Room, apart from text Books, references
books, IT magazine ,news papers, periodicals, journals. The
book Bank, through which all out student obtain the full set
of text books for each semester, from our library so as to
study at their own convenience is immensely popular among
them.
Performance:
a.
Academic Achievement: In the last university Examinations
results 80% of hte entire batch secured over 75% -91% marks,
(overall distinctions), while the remaining passed with over
60 % (First divisor) marks.
b.
Extra Co-Curricular Achievements: In the GGS Indraprastha
university completions, out students secured number of first
prizes in music, also solo singing & debate etc. Apart from
study visits, our students have the distinction of developing
software projects on

Academic
Professional participation:
The
faculty & members of the institute actively participated in
the international conferences on "Quality Reliability & information
Technology at the turn of hte Millennium (Trends sand future
directions)" held ion December 2003, Several other International
and National seminars were also attended. A paper on E-Governance
was presented in the international seminar.
International
Recognition:
Chairman of the Institute , Shri Ashok K. Jathy has been awarded
recognition as "Man of the year - 2000" by the internationally
renowned American Biographical institute and he thus joins
such other immunities as Doctor S.D. Sharma, out late President
of india, and Professor legate of Pune (Maharastha). The Institute
is presently functioning fro the campus of Mother Teresa Public
School. Now that the request of MTIM to DDA for allotment
of land in East Delhi, to set up its own campus has been accepted,
the land allotment is expected shortly. The Institute will
soon occupy its own building which shall provide world class
infrastructure and ancillary facilities for the overall development
of our students, as globally competent professionals.
